Life is like a train
People say that life is like a train. It always moves forward, it never stops forever, and it never waits just for you. Still, many people find themselves at a station – standing, hesitating, and thinking: "I will wait for a better opportunity, a better job, a better relationship… and then I will get on." But meanwhile, the train leaves. And with it, the chances that may never come back.
Waiting for the perfect moment is a trap. There is always a reason why not to start yet – not enough experience, time, money, or courage. But the perfect moment does not exist. If you keep standing still, life will simply pass by. And one day you may realize that it is too late.
If you get on, even when the conditions are not ideal, you gain something much more valuable than certainty – you gain experience. Every step forward teaches you something, every mistake gives you lessons, and every carriage you enter brings you closer to a better one. Maybe you will not start in the "first-class carriage," but without the first ride you will never reach it.
Imagine that you want to change your job. You wait for the perfect offer with a high salary, kind colleagues, and short hours. You will probably never find it. But if you accept a job that is just a small step forward, it can open doors that would stay closed if you stayed at the station.
Life will never give you ideal conditions. But if you get on, the train will take you much further than you could ever go on foot.
So don't sit at the station and don't wait. The right time is now.
